I think .ASX file is only a text file pointing to the real stream.
Try to open it in notepad to find it ?
Also see if checking or unchecking the "Stream Windows Media content using Windows Media Player ActiveX Control" option (at "Advanced Options" > "Playback" > "Windows Media") helps.

"Stream Windows Media content using Windows Media Player ActiveX Control" option didn't help.

It works here, with the option UNchecked, and opening directly (Open > Open URL)
mms://a1278.l211049675.c2110.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/1278/2110/v0001/reflector:49675
Does it work for you in WMP? If not, you should install WMP11, ZP uses the decoders it comes with for such streams.
See you,
TSR
edit: works with the option checked as well.

Ok I see that its this stream:
mms://a1278.l211049675.c2110.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/1278/2110/v0001/reflector:49675
If I use Open URL it works yes. But that is not what I want actually. I want automation and using my remote and the fullscreen navigation menu.
So I tried to put that in a url file and use the file navigator in ZP. When I hit the url *file* in ZP file navigator, it opens it up in Windows Media Player.
What can I do?

Atlantis, hmm from the navigator is another issue.. it looks like it's not supported yet.
Booga, it doesn't work from the "Open URL" for you? Hmm, are you sure your WMP is updated alright?

Open URL works for each URL, but playing the asx playlist file doesn't work..

Ok I figured out how to use the file navigation menu. I just use the Station List and add it as a TV station in Station Manager.
Everything works nicely now. Thanks.
