In beta all works fine, but in 4.0 final I lost color control with VMR9. I got radeon9500 and under VMR9 see color controls from overlay, but it's change anything. With RC.. all works fine. Any comments ?
Thanx.

I just checked it locally and it works.
Things to remember about VMR9 color controls:
1. They don't work for VMR7 (which was added in the final, double check you don't have it selected anywhere).
2. They don't work if the renderer is connected in RGB mode.
3. They only work in VMR9 Windowless mode (which is the only option for media files, but selectable in DVD Mode).

Have to double check this and (All about DVD mode):
From ZP 3.3X (including all betas 4.0) work both VMR9 windowed and windowless
In 4.0 final work in VMR9 windowless but don't work in VMR9 windowed.
It's shows color control from Overlay and don't do anything.
I can use VMR9 windowed, but DVDSpy do not detect _LCD_ functions.
And this works well before VMR7 happens. Can you check one more time.
Thanx.

VMR9 Windowed can not have color controls as the color control interface sits on the VMRWindowless9 interface, which doesn't exist for windowed mode.
Can you double check that it works with RC2? Cause I don't remember any code changes in the color controls in quite a while, way before RC2.
And I have checked (and now double checked) that it works just fine in VMR9 windowless and Overlay Mixer.

"VMR9 Windowed can not have color controls."
But it was all the way before RC3. See picture. (two parts)

Yes it works from 3.3X - RC2. Maybe when you add VMR7 support this broke something.
"And I have checked (and now double checked) that it works just fine in VMR9 windowless and Overlay Mixer."
The problem that I don't see the difference between Windowed and Windowless (wich is better?) but DVDSpy do not get ZoomPlayer.LCD.xxx events and this is the problem.
Thanx.

Confirmed here too... V4 Pro Final, VMR9, Radeon 9600, VMR9 Windowless checked, YV12 out from ffdshow, colour controls can be brought up on screen but have no effect... (actually in VMR9 there is quite a bit of colour banding in dark scenes too) Back with overlay for the while...

Victor:
Ok, I can confirm that color controls used to work in Windowed mode and now they don't. But they still work fine in Windowless mode...
Can you confirm that?

Ok, found and fixed for VMR9 Windowed.
BTW, If you are using the opensourced MPEG decoder for DVD, VMR9 color control won't work in either windowed or windowless. I'm guessing it's some sort of bug in the decoder.

In Windowless mode works fine.
It's GplMpgDec.ax (I like it because it output YV12), but on pictures is InterVideo.
