When I attempt to play the following video file, I get a crash (Access violation). Any ideas how to fix this?

Could this be related to the new WMP11?

I have no problem playing this file (with WMP11 final installed).

I can tell you that this file uses the old MP43 codec (the unhacked version of DivX 3.11), I'm actually using ffdshow to decode that and not the Windows Media decoder (microsoft pretty much abandoned this format with the release of WMV).

Just reinstalled ffdshow, here is the error I get.

I can play this file fine as well both with the MS codec and ffdshow with WMP11 installed.

These ffdshow builds are very stable if it's not what you are already using.

I've used "FFdshow-Tryouts-20061025-rev446-sse2.exe".
