Hi,

I'm a licensed user of ZP Pro. I am using 4.50 Beta 4.

Currently, when I try to play a DVD, I get the message "DVD-Video playback graph building failed. Error 8004027A"

I also get the same message when I try to play a DVD in PowerDVD 5.

The suggested "verify" indicates no prolbems with registered filters.

I tried switching from Overlay to VM7 and also to VM9 Windowed, and the problem remains.

I am using the same Cyberlink Video and Audio in ZP. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling PowerDVD 5 but that did not help.

I am using Windows XP Home SP2 and an ATI AIW Radeon 7500 graphics card.

I don't have any significant problems with Media playback using ZP.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Well, the error is "VFW_E_DVD_RENDERFAIL" if that's any help.

Perhaps you have the PowerDVD enabled to use hardware acceleration when it's not supported by the current driver you're using.

I would recommend dumping PowerDVD in favor of the DScaler decoders to see if that helps (better image quality too).

I had the same problem...but with WinDVD....re-installing WinDVD fixed it. Then I upgraded to ZP 4.51 and the same thing happened again. RE-installing WInDVD again fixed it.
