Well,
i am working on translation but it will take a couple of weeks to finish.
the files are huge.

by now i have a question:

where are the strings to translate the player buttons on the initial screen ??
like : Show Top Bar, hide top bar, show playlist , Play , stop , open files, station manager, skin selector .. and others in the initial screen ?

thanks

Hi rf,

Some parts of ZP cannot yet be translated, one of these parts is the buttons texts..

It would be interesting that the buttons can be translated in the next versions, otherwise the translation will not be complete

What you could do in the meantime is to provide a translated skin file, similar to the German version here:
http://forum.inmatri...indpost&p=50470

So basically just download a copy of the Onyx 8.1 skin from the skins gallery, translate the text inside the .skn file and then zip it back up using the Zoom ZPS creation tool so people can download and install it. It isn't as convenient obviously, but it would serve the purpose though I think.

Translating skins is something we are thinking about, but it isn't on a high priority at the moment.
The workaround is what Ehat suggested ;)

Hi,

Decompressing is easy - when you installed Zoom, it should have associated itself with .zps files. If so, simply double click the skin file to install it. After you follow the prompts ('do you want to install the skin' etc), this will unpack the skin to a folder in the Zoom skins directory. If nothing happens when you double click the file, open Zoom, go Advanced Options-->File Format Association and scroll down to ZPS. Make sure it is ticked (if it is ticked, try unticking it and then ticking it again), and then click Ok. Close Zoom and try double clicking again and it should work.

For the ZPS creation tool, see here:

Regards,

ehat
